Indonesian export house

An export house, built on written specifications.

PT Tri Global Export supplies dried galangal to food-sector buyers abroad. One commodity, one desk, and one way of agreeing what "acceptable" means before anything is loaded.

The entity you are contracting with

Tri Global Export operates as PT Tri Global Export, an Indonesian registered company (NIB 0508260283329) licensed for coconut coir manufacturing and agricultural commodity wholesale, based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Dried galangal whole and chunk pieces inside a woven polypropylene bag

One commodity, and how we actually operate

We handle dried galangal in two formats — slices, and whole or chunk rhizome — and nothing else. Narrowing to one rhizome is a recent decision rather than a founding one, and it was made for a plain reason: a desk that sells one thing can cut it to a buyer's brief, while a desk that sells everything sells from a list.

We operate as an export desk working with verified production partners rather than claiming ownership of every mill and drying yard behind the material. That is a deliberate structure, and it is worth being direct about the trade-off it creates. It means we do not control production floors directly. It also means the control has to live somewhere else — in a written specification agreed before allocation, in an approved reference sample, in current-lot evidence, and in your right to appoint an inspector before loading.

Buyers who have been disappointed by "we own our own factory" claims tend to recognise why this is the more honest arrangement. A supplier who owns a mill can still ship you the wrong cut. A supplier who wrote down the cut, showed you the sample, and let your agent look at the cargo has given you something you can actually hold them to.

Where to look next

Both formats are agreed and shipped the same way. These two pages set out how.
