Whole and Chunk Dried Galangal for Buyers in the Netherlands

Define the processor's input before the material reaches Dutch storage. A warehouse receipt confirms arrival. It does not confirm suitability for the final mill.

Storage Does Not Replace a Process Trial

A warehouse can check pack count and visible condition. The processor evaluates cutting and feeding. Agree which acceptance points belong to each party. Obtain the machine constraints before a trader approves the sample on appearance alone.

When a lot is split, keep the accepted whole or chunk definition with each onward allocation. A later customer must not receive an assumed grade that was never part of the original order.

If the Dutch storage site cannot run the processing trial, send a representative sample to the final operator under agreed delivery conditions. Keep the operator's feedback with the lot discussion before allocating commercial packs. A physical count at warehouse intake is then separate from the decision that the material suits the customer's machine.

Review the Received Form Before Conversion

NVWA's import guidance separates food-safety questions from plant-health questions that may also apply. Your Dutch representative reviews the larger dried pieces entering the country. Future milling does not decide their entry treatment.

Questions Before Ordering

Does Warehouse Acceptance Prove Milling Suitability?

No. Receiving condition and machine performance are different checks. Agree both with the parties that perform them.

Can Whole and Chunk Be Substituted During Allocation?

Not without confirming the accepted piece definition. The final processor may have input limits that rule out substitution.
