Agree a defined quantity and delivery period in writing. Do not assume that an initial order establishes unlimited capacity or that later increases can be supplied without a new availability review.
If the requirement is shared between suppliers, specify the proposed share and release schedule for our line. Quantity, specification, packing, and timing need confirmation before commitment.
Why a Benchmark Price and a Specification Are Discussed Together
Compare the grade, cut or piece range, tolerances, packing, Incoterm, and cost scope alongside the price. A landed benchmark is useful only when the offers cover comparable material and delivery responsibilities.
We do not claim to be the cheapest offer. Ask which specification, packing, quantity, or timing choices affect the proposed price, and record any agreed change.
Import Control
Ask your importer or broker to confirm the current food-safety and plant-health requirements for dried Alpinia galanga of Indonesian origin. Confirm whether permits, inspections, or a phytosanitary certificate apply to the actual product and shipment before booking.
Consistency Across a Long Program Is the Real Test
For repeat deliveries, agree acceptance tolerances and the checks required for each lot. Review the actual lot results instead of treating the best sample or an average figure as evidence for every shipment.
Keep lot references and review any result outside the agreed range before release. The written specification establishes the acceptance basis; it is not a guarantee that every future lot will perform identically.
