Dried Galangal Slices for Buyers in Germany
Specify what your receiving team will measure in the slices. A useful cut brief connects the application trial, the sample reference, and the incoming inspection.
Agree a Distribution, Not One Thickness Reading
A bag contains a range of pieces. Decide how representative slices are selected and what share outside the desired range is acceptable. That gives receiving staff a decision they can repeat.
For infusion or blending development, record the preparation and the role of the cut. If you request analyses, keep those results separate from observations about color or handling. Each answers a different acceptance question.
Ask your technical team to record the reason behind each acceptance limit. A thickness range may support a handling step. A fragment limit may protect presentation. When those purposes are visible, a proposed adjustment is easier to evaluate. It also prevents a preference from being reported later as a legal requirement or a test result.
Check Controls Against the Imported Slices
BVL's food-trade guidance is the starting point for your German representative's review of the applicable non-animal food controls. Describe the imported slices and the Indonesian origin, not only the blend or finished food you plan to make.

Questions Before Ordering
Does Clean Appearance Prove Microbiological Compliance?
No. Appearance cannot replace test results. Ask your technical team to define the analyses and acceptance limits needed for the intended use.
Can One Thickness Measurement Describe a Lot?
No. Agree a representative sampling method and range. Do not rely on one favorable piece.
