Whole and Chunk Dried Galangal for Buyers in India

Build the processing inquiry from the incoming piece range. A clear mill trial is more useful than comparing two offers labeled only "whole galangal".

Compare Usable Input, Not Only Bag Weight

Ask the processor to separate the pieces that feed directly, the pieces that need manual breaking, and the material it rejects. Record those observations in the trial. A quoted weight does not show how much preparation you will need.

If extraction is planned, define the trial protocol and any requested analysis. The chunk format itself establishes no yield, no active-content level, and no finished-product suitability.

If a trading business purchases for a mill, request the mill operator's observations directly in the purchasing file. Separate useful fragments from rejected material and record any manual preparation. Confirm which of those observations become acceptance limits. Not every incidental trial result should become a promise about future processing output.

Describe What Crosses the Border

FSSAI's clearance system concerns the imported food under review. Ask your importer to describe the received dried rhizome pieces accurately and to assess any requirements beyond the food workflow. Later milling is a separate production step.

Your India Quotation Brief

Input Size

Give the useful range and oversized examples for the actual machine.

Sorting Rule

Define the acceptable fragments, the rejected material, and how the trial observations are recorded.

Process Objective

Separate a milling input from an extraction experiment, and identify the required test results for each.

Indian Delivery

Name the importer and the final plant, with the packing and clearance-document instructions for the received form.

Questions Before Ordering

Is Every Fragment Waste for a Mill?

No. Usefulness depends on the process. Agree a functional fragment tolerance instead of treating every broken piece as the same defect.

Can Chunk Size Establish Active-Ingredient Content?

No. Physical dimensions are not an assay. Define any analytical requirement separately and confirm whether we can supply the relevant test results.
