Let the Processor Define Useful Pieces
If a trader places the order, obtain the processor's input requirements before accepting a sample. Ask which pieces need pre-cutting, which fragments are usable, and whether whole appearance has any value in the operation.
Tie sample feedback to the intended machine step. An attractive bag of rhizomes can still be inconvenient for a small hopper. Irregular chunks may be useful to a line that reduces everything.
