Dried Galangal Slices for Buyers in New Zealand

Turn a sample request into a repeatable preparation trial. Record how the slices are measured, used, and stored after the pack is opened.

Record the Preparation, Not Only a Preference

If the slices go into a recipe, record the quantity, any soaking or cutting, and whether the pieces stay in the finished food. Ask the operator to repeat the trial with another representative portion. A preferred aroma on one occasion is not yet a receiving specification.

For packs opened repeatedly during development, tell the export desk the working quantity and the handling method. We discuss suitable pack sizes. We do not guarantee shelf life under your storage conditions.

If several users share a development sample, give each the same preparation instructions and ask them to return observations separately. Separate a change in recipe from a change in material. Keep the agreed reference with the final buyer decision. Do not combine unlike trials into an unexplained statement that the slices passed.

Give the Importer a Stable Product Identity

Use MPI's importer-help guidance as the starting point for the local review. Keep "Alpinia galanga, dried slices" and the intended food use consistent between the sample request and the commercial inquiry.

Questions Before Ordering

Is the Trial Recipe an Import Specification?

No. The recipe assesses usefulness. The importer also needs an accurate description of the ingredient as received and its intended use.

Can You Promise Shelf Life After We Open the Pack?

No, not from a website description. Storage and handling differ. We discuss the test results for the proposed product and your own opened-pack procedure.
